Welcome to Lyme Green Hall

Situated in Macclesfield on the edge of the Peak District, Lyme Green Hall is a Grade II listed building which dates back to 1845. Over the last 3 years the Hall has undergone a major refurbishment programme and now boasts 22 bedroom suites with en-suite facilities, a beautiful traditional drawing room, dining room and a lovely quiet room where residents can enjoy peace and tranquility. Separate purpose built wings within the grounds, the 'Lymes' and the 'Villa', offer between them 34 rooms, most with en suite facilities. All residents of Lyme Green Hall are privately funded; however in the purpose built Lymes and Villa wings we do accept local authority funded residents with a top up wherever possible.

Day care

Lack of engagement and social isolation is a common feature of those people living alone with the diagnosis of dementia. Pendlebury Care Homes offers a friendly ready- made community, where people can spend their day with others, taking part in quizzes, reminiscing or having a sing along.

Respite care

At Pendlebury Care Homes, we know too well the importance of short or long stay respite to both the person with dementia and their family. By taking just a short break, families can recharge their batteries, ready to continue the important role they play every day in supporting the person with dementia.

Residential care

Lyme Green Hall is a registered care home for up to 60 residents at any time. In former years the Hall was run by the Red Cross and the Order of St. John as a hospital during World War II, for servicemen with spinal injuries.

"We were really anxious before Mum came to the home but we needn't have worried as she is in good hands. The staff took the time to explain everything to us, we didn't feel rushed to make a decision and we were shown round the home."
